I am an award winning filmmaker, editor, and educator.  I've been lucky to write, produce, direct, and edit meaningful films, television, and digital premium content for any size screen - including broadcasters, brands, and clients like National Geographic, PBS, A&E, NBC, ABC, Lifetime, Bravo, MTV, Cablevision, Discovery, and others.  I partner with non profits and NGOs to promote and engage their audiences as well as collaborate with international producers and filmmakers to create diverse, engaging, and award-winning content.  I have a passion to share my expertise with my diverse students in order to demystify the filmmaking process, democratize the tools and techniques of visual storytelling and nurture a more just, equitable, and resilient society.
